Cooper Tire Reviews
I purchased a 2011 F150 FX4 with 32,000 miles in March 2014. The previous owner had installed Zeon's. I'm hitting 100,000 miles on the truck and just now have grab new. Mud, snow, torrential rain, ice, sand, pasture, trails, interstate - these tires handle it all.
We have been using these tires for 2 years now, great tire of you are pulling trailers since these are E rated tires, highest towing weight tire that looks good on company trucks.
I have 50,000 plus miles on 305 50 20's and I think they will be good for at least 10,000 more.you do have to make sure to rotate them every so often.Best traction tire I have owned but they will make a little noise.load handling is great no sway no squat.just a great tire.
Fitted these on 20 inch, very quite, hard wearing and looks mean!
Let me be clear... My last four trucks have all ran BFG A/T KOs and KO2s and that will never change. While car shopping for my wife she settled on a 14 Audi Q7, with the 20" wheels. Unsettled at the quality of tires available in the OEM size I was forced to "adjust" the size and came across these Coopers. I had read reviews on them from Range Rover blogs, apparently it's slim Pickens for AT tires for those guys too, and everyone swore buy them. These tires are driven 80 miles a day on her commute to work which includes back country roads to 90mph multi lane highways. They've dug deep into sands on Carolina beaches, held true against 50mph crosswinds and down pours in Kansas, crossed Colorado's continental divide in January and bested the sun in Arizona in August. Would you win the BAJA 1000 with a set of these? Probably not... would I trust my family to ride on a set? I have. So when our first set finally wears out we will be replacing them with tires you can trust your, and your loved ones, life on.
Mounted this tire last year. Will be used most time on-road (90%) - rest off-road (10%). Very smooth riding - no noise , no vibrations - Avalanche is "walking" like a cat. Driven on snow and ice one time - works good, but in this case winter tires are the better option - like on my Hoe mounted.
Put a wide set on my lifted Colorado, with timely rotations I got over 75k miles out of them. Great traction for any of the conditions I encountered. Running a set on my 2010 GMC right now and am still just as pleased, already at 20k miles and still showing to wear well with rotations.
I bought my tires from Slander Tire, PA, from the recommendations of Missy, I had my reservations, She was so right. She ordered them to be in next day, I went in quickly installed, fast and easy transaction. Iam was so impressed, tires are quiet, been asked by several strangers if they were quiet? I said my radio is broke, and I have to hear them. I bought them approx. 10-5-2016, couldn't wait for snow, we got a couple good snow storms but lately frozen sleet to ice. I could not be more excited by them. Dry, Wet, slush, deep snow, and ice, the 400' uphill drive is no challenge, it is great, I am to old to park at the bottom and walk up. I give these tires 6 of 5 stars!
Tire seems to wear more than I would like. Will only last me about a year and a half. Seem not to grab well on slick surfaces. I think the tire is to soft, I pick up nails and screws alot and have to get the tires patched. Rides good and not to loud. Looks good on my truck though. I will still buy this tire again.
I bought these tires about 4 yrs ago. Very good looking. Many compliments. 95% of the time they have been on the road and great durability and wear. I couldn't ask for a better all-terrain tire. Well over 30,000 miles and still going. Noise is minimal. The only thing that is a must is finding the right air pressure for your vehicle and rotation.
